I am choosing the movie "I Love You Phillip Morris" for essay #4. I am choosing this move for several different reasons. One being the movie being fantastic, second because it is one of those movies that leaves your jaw dropped. The cast alone is my third reasoning for choosing this film. Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor are one of the best duo's I have ever seen. Although this movie may or may not catch your attention due to the different lifestyles projected in this film, it certainly caught mine. You will laugh and cry and be in shock through out the entire film.

J. Edgar Leonardo DiCaprio,Directed by Clint Eastwood
I have yet to see the film J. Edgar staring Leonardo DiCaprio and I am not too sure I would want to. According to the Rolling Stone review posted on November 10, 2011 states, "The result is a movie exhilarated by biting off more than it can chew, a great boon especially when the pacing goes from rushed to dramatically inert." I have a hard time following films that are rushed.
I would on the other hand give the film a chance only because of the extreme talent that is listed in the credits. Clint Eastwood is by far one of the best Directors of all time. Leonardo DiCaprio is also by far one of the most talented actors of all time. I couldn't accept anything other then perfection from the two best film creators and actors. I would like to think that the 1.5 stars from the community was off by 2.5 points.

What exactly a "tortilla" anyway...?
The essay Tortillas by Jose' Antonio Burciaga is a very interesting essay. I love how the author states that his "family claims" that he "owes" his career as an artist" due to his early experiments with tortillas." I chuckled out loud when I read that he used to wear tortillas as a yarmulke and that he never had any great urge to convert from Catholicism to Judaism. Jose' states very historical facts about the Mexican traditional tortillas.
I laugh because I feel as though he is sarcastic in some of his statements because of the "shrine" of Jesus Christ in the tortilla. I enjoyed reading about the traditional tortilla.

I Want a Wife...
I love how this essay is written by a "wife" and a "mother". The way the author has described a "wife" is what everyone's dream "person" should be. I say "person" because the author do no indicate that a wife is a "she". You do not have to be a female to be a "wife." I really enjoy the out look and statements that the author had to share about wanting a wife.

Where it all began...
My first project for my English class is going to be the overview of how my career started. I am choosing to do my project on my job, my passion, my life, childcare. I am very excited to get deep and personal with my classmates, professor, and my new blog readers. (Keeping my fingers crossed that I did this blog thing right. haha)
